COVID-19 UPDATE April 24, 2020
Hi OSLC Community!
First, I want to say that I hope you, your family, and friends are safe and healthy. I am really missing our time together at Our Saviour’s, but I’m sure you’ll agree that the pastors, staff, musicians, and church members have gone above and beyond to keep us connected spiritually. There is no substitute for in-person church gatherings and worship, but your health and safety are our top priorities. On April 23rd, the Church Council voted unanimously to follow the “Safer at Home” guidelines outlined by Governor Polis, which prohibit gatherings of more than 10 people. This policy is echoed by the Rocky Mountain Synod and Bishop Gonia. If you would like to read his letter you can see it here: https://files.constantcontact.com/bbca2826001/1666b48a-4c46-4cb4-a8d3-5e887a18986b.pdf
At this point, we plan to continue online worship and other gatherings through May and keep our building closed. Our staff will continue to work from home. You can always email or call the office and they will receive the voicemail and get back to you. We will continue to monitor the situation and keep you informed as circumstances change.
On a side note, we want to thank you for your continued giving. These gifts are making a difference for people in our community and around the world.
In Peace,
Roger Sherman
OSLC Council President
