The Mobile Laundry project provides laundry service to qualified students and families in Poudre and Thompson school districts. The truck is equipped with six washers and dryers and maintains a weekly schedule of locations where families can drop off laundry to be washed, dried, and folded for later pick-up. Currently, the truck is located at Our Saviour’s on Mondays. For more information, email Pat Friehauf, program co-founder, at email@example.com, or to volunteer see https://www.homewardalliance.org.
One Village One Family
OVOF, a part of Ft. Collins’ Homeward Alliance, recruits and trains teams of 4-5 church members (or “Villages”) to help families experiencing homelessness get back on their feet. The time commitment is about three hours per month for six-seven months, plus a training session. Our Saviour’s also raises $1,500 to help each family with initial housing costs. For more information, email Katina@homewardalliance.org or Madelyn Mihm firstname.lastname@example.org.
