Spiritual formation is something that happens throughout our lives. As adults we seek to be grounded in a variety of ways and experiences. There are many opportunities throughout the year to engage in different ways. Small Groups are great way to get involved, meet others, and share faith conversations. Groups can be short or long term commitments depending on the desire of the group. Info will be released as small groups happen.
Bible Study
Starting back up on January 10th (Wednesday’s at 5:45pm) OR January 11th (Thursday’s at 9:30am) both in the North Meeting Room.
Join us for a winter Bible study on the parables of Luke! Together, we’ll explore the timeless stories Jesus told to reveal profound truths about compassion, forgiveness, humility, and God’s Kingdom. Each week, we’ll dive into parables like the Good Samaritan, the Prodigal Son, and the Persistent Widow, discovering fresh perspectives within these powerful teachings. Whether you’re new to Bible study or looking to deepen your understanding, this series invites us to see ourselves in Jesus’ stories and consider how they call us to live. All are welcome—come ready to learn, reflect, and grow in community!
Theology Pub
Meets the 4th Thursday of every month at 6:00 pm at Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar.
Prayer Group
We are continuing the Intercessory Prayer group and welcome new members. This group will meet from 10:45-11:45 am, after the Thursday morning Bible Study. We are inviting anyone and everyone to join us. This is a time of meditation and quiet as well as supplication to our Father in Heaven for the needs of our church, the world and ourselves. We follow the steps of prayer illustrated by the acrostic, ACTS. Adoration; Confession; Thanksgiving; and Supplication. It is certainly okay to join us even if you want simply to sit, be quiet and listen. Prayer is a matter of the heart. For more information, please contact Mary Hubbard at: 214-264-9233
