Adrienne Watz

How long have you been a member at OSLC and what brought you here?

We started attending OSLC in 2017 and became members in 2019. We loved the welcoming community and all the children’s programs available here at OSLC. Our whole family felt right at home since the first day we walked through the front doors.

Tell us about your family?

Nearly 18 years ago I married my high school sweetheart and best friend, Erik. Together we have three beautifully loud and energetic children; James (9), Emmett (7) and Lena (4). My family is my greatest joy.

What are some of your hobbies?

When I am not shuttling kids to and from activities, you can find me out trail running or at home with a good book. Summers are full of camping adventures and winters are spent skiing.

What do you like most about OSLC?

I love the comfortable and inclusive environment that OSLC has. It feels like home. It’s a community that constantly exhibits kindness and love through acts of service and worship. It’s a place where loved people, love people.

Why do you want to serve on church council?

I look forward to meeting more people at church and serving the church in the best way that I can.

Marlie Clark

How long have you been a member at OSLC and what brought you here?

I have been a member for about a year and a half. I was very drawn by the beliefs of equality and how everyone is welcome.

Tell us about your family?

In my family, I have a mom and a dad and I am an only child. I also have a five year old golden retriever.

What are some of your hobbies?

Like any teenager, I love hanging out with friends, I run, I act and sing, and I love doing anything outside.

What do you like most about OSLC?

I really like the inclusivity and community feel of OSLC.

Why do you want to serve on church council?

I want to serve on church council to be the voice of younger people at OSLC.

Scottie Moore

I enjoy camping, fishing, and watching a variety of sports.

What do you like most about OSLC?

I have enjoyed being part of the evening Bible Study and I also enjoy serving on the OOW Committee.

Why do you want to serve on church council?

I believe in being an active member and I would like to provide leadership as well.

Tyann Kuehnast

How long have you been a member at OSLC?

Moving here from Minnesota in 1967, we searched for a Lutheran church. Our Saviours was welcoming, warm, innovative and through the years not just a church, but our church family.

Tell us about your family?

My husband Al and I have 2 grown children (both baptized and confirmed at Our Saviours) Our parents and grandparents were from Iowa and many relatives still live in the mid-west.

What are some of your hobbies?

A retired teacher, I love attending theatre, traveling and socializing.

What do you like most about OSLC?

The people! They give me the support and reminder of living out God’s love and kindness.

Why do you want to serve on church council?

I don’t take for granted the mission and strength of what Our Saviours has been, is, and will continue to be. I welcome the chance to support and serve. (I could represent the Saturday evening service worshippers.)
