Children's & Family Ministry
Faith Formation is a key part of who we are and what we do. Jesus calls us to be disciples and to walk in the ways of God’s love and justice for the world. Therefore, learning in a variety of ways–ways that deepen our minds but also our hearts is a key part of Faith Formation for all ages at OSLC.
Central Place
Children are welcomed and encourage in all aspects of Christian life-fellowship, worship, learning, and serving. Each week there is a children’s word time with a Pastor or other caring adult. Children are invited and encouraged to participate in worship leadership and through our Together in Faith ministry and music ministries.
Sunday Mornings
Sunday School • 10:30 – 11:15 AM
After worship in the Playroom, children are invited to come and dive deep into Bible stories in a kid centered way.
Playroom • 9:30 – 10:30 AM
Every Sunday, high school youth staff the playroom and provide space for kids to enjoy games, crafts, and more! During worships, the youth staff will accompany the kids into worship for the Children’s Message and Communion. Kids are welcome to join in the fun both during and after worship!
Pray & Play • 10:30 – 11:15 AM
Join Pastor Leta once a month in the Playroom after worship for a little play, a little education, a little prayer and fellowship for children ages 0-5 and their families.

Children’s Choir
Sundays • 10:55 AM
The Children’s Choir is open to all children from preschool to 5th grade. We meet on Sunday mornings at 10:55 in the music room from September through May and sing in worship about twice a month.
The Children’s Choir has a big part in the annual Christmas program at OSLC, as well as providing special music on Easter! Come and join the fun!

Wednesday Night Kids’ Club
Wednesdays • 5 PM – 7 PM
Throughout the school year on Wednesday evenings, elementary children are invited to Kids’ Club! This is a time for fun, games, and a little bit of faith learning led by our incredible youth staff! We will also be eating dinner together at 5:30 PM.
