What is a grief journey? The word ‘journey’, when used as a verb, implies ongoing movement or travel; progress, traveling from one place to another. Grief and loss, in this case are also verbs, indicating a live process. Often our journeys include inviting others to walk alongside us.
The purpose of the OSLC Grief Journey group is to meet once a month to talk openly about our individual grief journey, hear about others’ journeys, and recognize the presence of God in all of our journeys. This is an open group for all who have experienced one or more of the different forms of grief. We don’t pretend to be medical experts, just supportive and compassionate listeners.
